Went on a walk with my son on some wooded property that belongs to his wife’s family. We don’t get to hangout much, so to say this was special is an understatement. We both love nature and quiet…
Here is a couple of the photos I took on our walk.
And because I love B & W
So this is a tababuea tree, I also call this a rain tree although I think there is another tree named this. I have a few others that are pink and after 5 years 2 of them finally flowered.
This yellow one was a volunteer from my neighbor. It had a sibling until just before this one sprouted buds. The caveman got to it, I kept telling him it was a “good ” tree and to leave it be lol, he mows everything down!
When it finally sprouted, you’d have thought the President was paying us a visit! I broke out my fancy camera, put my hat on backwards and started clicking!
Now if i can just get my dogs to stop peeing on my Gardenia! [SMH] Anyone have any suggestions on this?
After a little rain shower, check out these lovelies❣
Over the years i have become a bit obcessed with Birds in the wild. They are so magestic, commanding, predatory…here are a few from Lake Wire which happens to be right across the street from a craft brewery called Swan Brewing.
This is part 4 of my series of photos taken at Zoo Tampa.
This was the abolute highlight of the day, it was the purest and sweetest thing i have EVER seen. This baby was trying to share her sippy cup with the baby Orangutan. The little girl then put her hand on the glass and the baby O did the same. 💞
Some amazingly beautiful birds inside an Aviary…the chicken was there to keep bugs to a minimum, he was strutting around like he owned the place. Lol
Very interresting creatures in the Asia exhibit: Tapir, sloth bear, gharial croc…
Well this does it for the Zoo trip, until next time lol I need to take pictures in the Africa and Wallaroo exhibits AND the new Manatee exhibit just opened too!
The camera loved this lady❣ only sharing a few…031619 @ Zoo Tampa
